Blink is made by Amazon, so it signs in with the Amazon account you already have and works with Alexa out of the box. It runs on batteries, so it goes up even where there’s no doorbell wiring, and it can also connect to existing wires.

Prefer Ring or Google Nest? We install those too. You can buy the doorbell yourself, or we bring one and you pay store price at the visit.

Common questions

Do I need existing doorbell wiring?

No. Blink and the battery versions of Ring and Nest run on batteries. If you do have wiring, we can use it so you never charge the battery.

Is there a monthly fee?

Not from us. Each brand offers an optional plan for saving video history in the cloud. We’ll show you the options and you decide.

Does the $125 include the doorbell?

No, $125 is the installation labor (normally $250). Buy the doorbell yourself before we come, or we can bring one and you pay store price at the visit.

Can you add cameras or an Echo while you’re there?

Yes. Mention it in the notes, or see our smart home setup page.

I rent my home. Can I still get one?

Yes, with your landlord’s okay. Battery doorbells can go up with minimal drilling.
